YOUNG MURCAR PLAYER WINS CLARK ROSEBOWL
IN CENTENARY SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK
Sjavon-Dee Wilson from Murcar won the Clark Rosebowl, the No 2 match-play competitition during the Centenary Scottish women's amateur championship week over the Old Course, St Andrews.
Sjavon, from Portlethen, near Aberdeen beat Charlie Taylor (Troon Ladies) by 3 and 2 in the final after winning the first three holes.
Charlie hit back to cut the deficit to one hole but Sjavon came away again on the inward half.
