NORTHERN COUNTIES MOVE CLOSER TO TITLE ON FINAL DAY

Northern Counties, with wins over Fife and Ayrshire under their belts, looked to be well on their way to a clean sweep of the opposition on the third and final day of the Scottish women's county championship finals at Scotscraig.
Northern Counties led Borders 2 1/2-1/2 after the foursomes.
Meanwhile, Fife led Ayrshire 2-1 after the morning play.
