EMMA AND DANIELLE SHARE FIRST ROUND LEAD
Emma Duggleby and Curtis Cup team-mate Danielle Masters shared the lead on two-under-par 70 at the end of the first qualifying round in the English women's amateur chgampionship at Northamptonshire County Golf Club on Tuesday.

SILVER MEDAL FOR VIKKI
Vikki Laing tied for first place with a 72 in a US Women's Open championship local qualifying competition at Corral del Tierra Country Club, California.
She won a silver medal for that as well as the right to play in the Final Qualifier over 36 holes at San Gabriel CC, also in California, on May 22-23.
