ENGLAND GIRLS' WINNING LEAD v SCOTS

England took a winning 5-1 lead over Scotland in the singles as the girls' home internationals continued at Strathaven Golf Club.
Because of the threat of rain wiping out afternoon play, it was decided to play the singles int he morning with the foursomes in the afternoon if weather permitted.
Wales took a 4-2 lead over Ireland in the singles part of their match.

Kiran Matharu beat Roseanne Niven 4 and 3.
Katrina Holford beat Carly Booth 4 and 2.
Florentyna Parker lost to Kylie Walker 3 and 2.
Felicity Johnson beat Krystle Caithness 6 and 5.
Claire Aitken beat Clare-Marie Carlton 3 and 2.
IRELAND v WALES
Tara Delaney beat Breanne Loucks 1 hole.
Catherine Tucker lost to Lydia Hall 1 hole.
Fiona Carroll lost to Sahra Hassan 2 and 1.
Nikki Taggart lost to Kim Boudlen 2 and 1.
Emma Gilmore lost to Donna Jones 3 and 2.
Rachael Cassidy beat Lucy Gould 5 and 3.
