SCOTLAND GIRLS TAKE 2-1 FOURSOMES LEAD

The girls' home internationals at Strathaven Golf Club have got underway but the rains returned to cause a suspension of play for a period.
Scotland took a 2-1 lead over Wales in the foursomes with Gemma Webster and Krystle Caithness beating Tara Davies and Breanne Loucks, while Sally Watson and Kylie Walker beat Lydia Hall and Sahra Hassan.
Carly Booth and Clare-Marie Carlton lost by one hole to the No 2 Welsh pair of Kim Boulden and Donna Jones.
England, the defending champions and favourites, led Ireland 2-1 at their foursomes.
The singles programme has been started from two tees - the Scotland v Wales ties from the first tee; the England v Ireland ties from the 10th tee.
