NORTHERN COUNTIES TEAM FOR ELGIN
MEG SIEVEWRIGHT, LINDA SMITH RECALLED
Scottish champions Northern Counties have recalled Meg Sievewright (Keith) and Linda Smith (Buckpool), who have not appeared in their line-up for a number of years, for the defence of the Northern Division women’s golf team championship at Elgin from June 25 to 27.
The squad for the matches against Aberdeenshire, Angus and Perth & Kinross – the Northern Division champions go forward to the Scottish finals at Ranfurly Castle (September 16 to 18) – is:
Cara Gruber (Royal Dornoch), Kerri Harper (Inverness), Christine McAndrew (Nairn Dunbar), Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar), Jenny Milne (Elgin), Meg Sievewright (Keith), Linda Smith (Buckpool), Laura Walker (Nairn Dunbar).
Reserves: Marion Howieson (Inverness), Mary Smith (Tain).
