SCOTTISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS
Updates from semi-finals at Cruden Bay this afternoon.
Fiona Lockhart and Kylie Walker all square after eight holes.
Kylie won the first with a par 4 but lost the second to a par 4. Kylie went one up again with a birdie 3 at the third and increased her advantage to two with a beautiful pitch from through the back of the long fifth for a winning birdie 4.
Kylie's length off the tee cost her the sixth hole. She was so far up the fairway with her drive she had a go at clearing the burn with her second ... and landed on the steep upslope of the bank of the burn. From there she fluffed her recovery back into the burn and eventually conceded Fiona the hole with a par 5.
