WELSH WOMEN'S OPEN STROKE-PLAY
HENNI BROCKWAY WINS TITLE PLAY-OFF
English youngsters Henni Brockway (Yeovil) and Kiran Matharu (Cookridge Hall) fought out a play-off to decide who would be Welsh women's open amateur stroke-play champion at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club today.
They had tied at the head of an international-class field after 54 holes.
Kiran (144) had led from Henni (145) at the end of Saturday's two rounds.
Miss Brockway prevailed in the play-off at the third extra hole.
