CRITCHLEY SALVER

KERRY SMITH'S FIRST SUNNINGDALE WIN
England international player Kerry Smith (Waterlooville) won the Critchley Salver by five shots over Sunningdale’s Old and New Courses.
It was her first win in the 36-hole tournament organised by Sunningdale Golf Club since its inception 1982.
Kerry shot a 74 over the Old Course, matching the par and the CSS, and had a 73 over the New Course, which was one under the par and the CSS.
Runner-up on 152 was Sian James with a 77 over the Old and a 75 over the New.
Defending champion Natalia Cruse of the host club – she won with 67 and 72 for 139 last year – finished in a tie for 10th place on 158 with a pair of 79s.
