DUNHILL SCHOOLS LINKS COMPETITION
CATCHMENT AREA EXPANDED TO
INCLUDE ANGUS, DUNDEE, FIFE
The dunhill links schools golf championship is being expanded to include all secondary schools in Angus, Dundee and Fife. In the past entry has been restricted to a limited number of schools in the area of the dunhill links championship which this year will be played from September 29 to October 2 over the Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.
The new-look dunhill links school challenge will be decided over 18 holes of stroke-play under handicap over the Torrance Course at St Andrews Bay Hotel, on Sunday, June 26.
There will be four individual champions - a junior boy and junior girl (S1-S3) and a senior boys and senior girl (S4-S6).
All participants will be invited with their parents and a school representative to the final day of this year’s dunhill links champions at St Andrews on Sunday, October 2.
The four winners will also be invited to an exclusive golf clinic given by coach Robert Baker at the championship practice range on that final Sunday.
