DOUGLAS GILLESPIE SCOTTISH BOYS U-16 CHAMPIONSHIP

ANGLO-SCOTS 1-2 AT LONGNIDDRY

Anglo-Scots Darren Renwick(Worthing, Sussex) and Billy Fowles (Wentworth, Surrey) finished first and second in the 54-hole Douglas Gillespie Scottish Under-16 boys' championship at Longniddry today.
Overnight leader Fowles was overtaken on the final round by Renwick who shot a closing 67 for 207 - three ahead of Fowles who finished with a 72.
Jack Meehan (Dullatur) and James Byrne (Banchory) were the top home Scots in the final standings. Jack finished with a 72 for 212 and third places; James with a 70 for 213 and fourth place.
