SCOTLAND TEAM FOR HOME INTERNATIONALS
NESS OPEN WILL GO AHEAD
The Ness Open 36-hole women’s tournament at Inverness Golf Club on Sunday, August 28 will definitely go ahead even if the number of entries does not improve significantly before then.
Last year’s tournament was cancelled when only about a dozen entries were received.
"We’ve got 26 entries so far. I would like to see a lot more before the actual date of the tournament but that’s a big enough figure to make the decision that the Ness Open will definitely be played this year," said organiser Pam Gordon.
Mrs Gordon will accept entries by telephone at 01667 453392.
