SCOTS LOSE GRIP ON MILLER STIRLING TROPHY
Scotland meet South of England today at Hayling Island in a match which will decide who gets the "Wooden Spoon" in the Veteran Ladies Golfing Association area team championship at Hayling Island, Hampshire.
Captained by Joan Marshall (Baberton), the Scots went south seeking to win the Miller Stirling Trophy for a third year in a row.
Unfortunately, the lost 5-4 to North of England on the first day and 6-3 to Midlands yesterday.
Meanwhile Midlands beat South 5-4 and North beat South 6-3, which means that the North v Midlands match today will be for the title and Miller Stirling Trophy.
