MIDLOTHIAN MOVED CLOSER TO FIRST
TITLE SINCE 1935 AT RANFURLY CASTLE

Midlothian moved closer to a first Scottish women’s county championship triumph since 1935 when they took a 3-0 lead over Lanarkshire in the foursomes this morning.
Another boost was Northern Counties taking a 3-0 lead over Borders who had been Midlothians’ closest challengers at the start of the third and final day’s play at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club, Bridge of Weir.
