FRENCH WOMEN'S OPEN

 

LYNN KENNY'S TOP 30 FINISH IN FRENCH OPEN

 

Lynn Kenny (Brucefields Family Golf Centre) strung together four steady rounds of 73, 75, 76 and 72 to finish in joint 29th place in the French Women's Open at Le Golf d'Arras.

Lynn's total of 296 earned her 3,217 Euros.

Inverness-based New Zealander Liz McKinnon finished on 297 with scores of 78, 71, 75 and 73 to earn 2,827 Euros for a share of 32nd place.

Veronica Zorzi, with a seven-under-par total of 281, retained the title but only by one shot from Laura Davies.

The Italian had started the final round four shots clear of the field.
