AMERICAN SHOOTS 69 TO POST SENIORS' TARGET
American John Baldwin posted the clubhouse target of 225 after returning the lowest score so far of the 54-hole tournament - a three-under-par 69 in the Scottish senior men's open stroke-play championship at Ranfurly Castle today.
That meant that overnight leader Jim Watt from Edzell, starting on 148, had to shoot 76 or less to beat Baldwin.
Of course, there are other players out there who might also get under John Baldwin's final total.
