URQUHART'S TWO-SHOT NORTHERN OPEN LEAD
McCREADIE EQUALS CARNEGIE COURSE RECORD
Murray Urquhart from Inverness has reached the halfway point in the Northern Open at Skibo Castle with a two-stroke lead.
Murray has had rounds of 66 and 68 for a 36-hole tally of 134.
His nearest challenger is Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle) who won the Northern Open over the Carnegie Links a couple of years ago.
Jason equalled the course record of 65 in his second round. He opened with a 71 so he is lying second on 136 with two rounds to go.
