COURSE RECORD AT HOPEMAN
Northern Counties team player Jenny Milne (Elgin) has slashed five shots off the Hopeman Golf Club women’s course record she set four years ago – in the same competition!
Jenny won the club’s women’s open tournament for the McPherson Cup with a one-under-par 31. Figures:
OUT – 4 5 3 4 4 6 3 4 3: 36
IN – 4 4 3 5 4 3 4 3 5: 35
Jennie had birdies at the fourth, ninth, 13th and 16th. She had a double-bogey 6 at the sixth and a bogey at the short 14th in halves of level-par 36 and one-under 35.
The CSS on the day was 72, the same as par.
