LPGA QUALIFYING PROCESS STARTS
SAMANTHA HAS A 69 AND VIKKI A 72
Samantha Head from Bedford had a 69 and Vikki Laing a 72 in the first round of the LPGA Qualifying School sectional 72-h0le tournament at Mission Hills, California.
Shayna Miyajima led with a 67 (33-34). Samantha was in fourth place with halves of 34 and 35.
Vikki had halves of 35 and 37 to be in 26th place.
Three rounds still to go - and a long way to the Final LPGA Q School.
