NORTHERN IRELAND GIRL STRUGGLES

TENTH HOLE GRIEF FOR
DANIELLE IN NCAA
WOMEN'S PREVIEW

Northern Ireland’s Danielle McVeigh, a freshman student at Texas A&M University, was in joint 57th place in a field of 90 with one round to go in the NCAA Women’s Fall Preview golf tournament at LPGA International, Daytona Beach in Florida.
Danielle, last year's Irish girls' champion from Kilkeel and an Ireland international team player, has had rounds of 77 and 79 for a total of 156 over the Par-72, 6,315yd Legends Course.
She has started both rounds at the 10th – and the hole has proved a nightmare for her. She had a double bogey 6 there in the first round and a triple bogey 7 at the 10th in the second round.
