SUSPENSION OF PLAY AT SENIORS
Play in the second round of the Senior British women’s open amateur golf championship at Dumfries & County Golf Club had to be suspended with 27 players still to finish.
The lush course became waterlogged after steady, heavy rain.
The players who have still to complete 36-hole totals will go out at 8am on Thursday morning.
A cut will be made when the second round is completed and the leading 40 and ties will go into in a two-tee start to play the third and final 18 holes.
The computer projection is that players with two-round totals of 170 or better will qualify.
