KATY IN FLORIDA TOP TEN
Carnoustie’s Katy McNicoll, a second-year student at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florida, was lying joint eighth at the end of the first round of the Lady Falcon Invite college golf tournament at Riviera CountRy Club, Ormond Beach in Florida.
Katy shot a three-over-par 75 (36-39) to be three shots behind joint leaders Ashley Kozlowski (Stetson), Kara Doyle (Stetson) and Anne-Sophie Friis (Nova Southeastern).
Lynn (304) are lying third in a field of 10 behind Bethune Cookman College (301) in the team event.
