PAMELA FEGGANS HAS THREE-OVER 75 AT
FUTURES TOUR SCHOOL IN FLORIDA
Ayrshire exile Pamela Feggans returned a three-over-par 75 (38-37) in the first round of the United States Futures Tour Qualifying tournament at Lakeland, Florida yesterday.
Pamela, a Scotland amateur international before she turned professional after completing her college career in Florida, was in joint 58th place in a field of 266. On the same mark was Londoner Polly Willett (37-38).
Natasha Morgan from South Wales, a senior-year student at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florida, was in joint 27th place after a 73 (36-37).
Brenda McLarnon from Belfast had a 77 (37-40).
Ulrika Ljungman-Smith from Stockholm led the field by one shot with a 68 (36-32).
The field will be cut to leading 90 and ties after three rounds over the Huntington Hills and Schalamar Creek courses.
