DAWN MARIE 41st AT PINEHURST
Dawn Marie Conaty (Memphis) from Dublin finished tied for 41st place in a field of 90 for the Pinehurst Challenge women's college tournament over the Pinehurst No 8 course in North Carolina.
Dawn Marie had scores of 80 and 81 for 161 over a par-72 course measuring 5,978 yards.
Two Scandinavians tied for individual victory - Lene Krog (East Carolina) from Norway and Sweden's Sara Wikstrom (Arkansas-Little Rock), on 149 with scores of 75 and 74 each.
There was also a dead-heat in the team event with East Carolina and North Carolina State both totalling 613 - six shots ahead of the College of Charleston. Memphis (644) finished 12th of 17.
