NORTHUMBERLAND STUDENT SHARES VICTORY
IN HARBOR LAKES INVITATIONAL
Philip Waugh from Northumberland, a student at Lon Morris Community College, Jacksonville in Texas, tied for victory with Jordan Woolf (Texas Christian University) in the Harbor Lakes Invitational college tournament at Harbor Lakes Golf Club, Granbury, Texas.
Both players totalled one-under-par 143 over the 7,235yd, par-72 course.
Philip's team-mate, Ricky Lee from Duham, came joint 34th with 76 and 80 for 156,
Odessa (590) won the team title by two shots from Paris Community College (592) with McLennan (603) and Lon Morris (605) fourth of the nine colleges participating.
