VIKKI OPENS FUTURES TOUR WITH A 75
Musselburgh's Vikki Laing, Londoner Polly Willett and Lisa Hall from Stoke were all lying joint 53rd in a field of 144 on the three-over-par 75 mark at the end of the first round in the opening event of the United States Futures Tour at Lakeland, Florida.
Vikki had halves of 39 and 36, Polly 37-38 and Lisa 36-39.Four players shared the lead on three-under-par 69 over the 6,258yd Cleveland Heights course - Meredith Ward (Illinois), Noon Huachai (Bangkok), Sarah-Jane Kenyon (Queensland) and Lori Atsedes (New York).
