TOP 10 FINISH FOR CARLY IN FLORIDA
Carly Booth from Comrie finished joint 10th in the Mission Inn Junior Open tournament at Howey in the Hills, near Orlando, Florida earlier this week.
A student at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, 14-year-old Carly struggled with opening rounds of 84 and 80 before finishing in style with a par-matching round of 71 for a total of 235.
So-Hyun Park, from Bradenton, Florida, won by five strokes with scores of 75, 68 and 67 for 210.
A international field of 38 under-18 girls took part.
Carly, who has a handicap of +2, is returning to Scotland to play in the Helen Holm Scottish women's open amateur stroke-play championship at Troon Portland & Royal Troon from April 27 to 29.
