SALLY MAKES TOP 20 IN US JUNIOR
RANKINGS BUT CARLY IS ONLY 501st!


South Queensferry girl Sally Watson, 15, has entered the top 20 US junior golf rankings for the first time following a second-place finish in the recent Mizuno Junior Open in Florida.
A student at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Florida, Sally, pictured right, is ranked No 17 with a rating of 72.72 from the eight junior events she has played.
Astonishingly, 14-year-old Carly Booth from Comrie, who is also a live-in student at the David Leadbetter Academy, is ranked 501st!
Carly finished 10th in her most recent outing on the Florida junior circuit and she has played in only four in all. He rating is 77.96.

Sally plays off +3 and Carly +2.
Irish girls champion Stephanie Meadow, who is a student at the International Junior Golf Academy, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is ranked No 99 with a rating of 76.52 from six events.
The top-ranked girl in American junior golf is Esther Choe. Isabelle Lendl, one of the former tennis ace’s daughters, is ranked No 4.
