TARA JOINT FOURTH BUT GEMMA OUTSIDE
TOP 20 IN LADY BUCKEYE INVITATIONAL


Irish cap Tara Delaney (Kent State University) and Scotland international Gemma Webster (Ohio State University) were lying joint fourth and joint 23rd respectively in a field of 87 players for the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational women's college golf tournament over the Ohio State University's course at Dublin, Ohio.
Tara has scored 76 and 73 for 149. She bogeyed two of the last three holes in her second round after birdieing the third, 14th and 15th.
Gemma is on 158 for the par-72, 6,288yd Scarlet course after rounds of 80 and 78.
Gemma had a triple bogey 7 at the first and a double bogey 5 at the short fifth in her first round. Then she birdied the eighth and 10th in her second round before running up a double bogey 6 at the 15th.
Tara Delaney's older sister Karen, also a student at Kent State, continues to score in the 80s. She had rounds of 83 and 85 for a 24-over-par tally of 168 and a share of 60th place. Karen has not had a birdie in the 36 holes.
Purdue (593) lead the team event from Michigan State (604) with Kent State (616) third and Ohio State and Iowa sharing fourth place on 626 in a field of 14.
Two Purdue University players, Christel Boeljon and Spain's Maria Hernandez, share the lead on 141, Christel with a pair of 71s, Maria with 72 and 70.
