VICKI POWER IN FOURTH PLACE
AT WYOMING COWGIRL CLASSIC
Irish junior international Vicki Power (Northern Arizona University) was lying fourth with one round to go in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ocotillo Golf Club, Chandler in Arizona.
The Cambridge-born 22-year-old, who has played for Ireland at both Under-18 and Under-21 levels, had rounds of 74 and 77 for a 36-hole tally of 151.
Vicki is the third Northern Arizona University player in the top four.
Team-mate Ali Carter leads the field on 147 with scores of 72 and 75 while Sophia Choi, also Northern Arizona University, shares second place on 150 (77-73) with Kelly Gillum (Montana State University) (76-74).
Northern Arizona are also running away with the team title. With a 36-hole total of 602, they are 28 shots ahead of nearest rivals British Columbia University with Northern Colorado (634) in third place among the nine teams.
