BORDERS' COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

Hawick’s Judith Anderson, the holder of the title, is chasing a record eighth victory in the Borders women’s county championship which reaches the match-play stages at The Roxburghe Golf Club today (Saturday).
Judith qualified in the No 2 position with a 78, one more than top seed Sharon Lees.
