Sandra Gal (Germany) and Maria Hernandez (Spain), two of the top-rated European players on the United States college circuit, have withdrawn from the British women's open amateur championship at Alwoodley Golf Club, Leeds next month.
Irish champion Karen Delaney (Carlow) is No. 2 on the waiting list.
