A THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM RENTON LAIDLAW

The support and encouragement I have received over the last few weeks after the drama which followed the first of my three operations has been absolutely remarkable. To all my friends and colleagues who wrote, emailed, telephoned or passed on get well messages, my grateful thanks. Knowing so many people around the world were pulling for me was a great encouragement. The consultants warned me the recovery process, of necessity, would be a long one and I am not expected to be fully fit before July at the earliest.
I am back home at Sunningdale however and have had a good check-up report from the surgeon.
The heart pacemaker installed in the second operation, is also working well.
I am beginning to move about again and looking forward to getting back to normal in due course.
Once again many thanks to everyone who sent messages of support.
