CATRIONA LYING JOINT 20th AS US WOMEN'S
OPEN THIRD ROUND STILL TO BE FINISHED

The United States Women's Open continues into its fourth day - and what should be final day - on Sunday with no third-round totals completed.
The field of halfway qualifiers (149 scores or better) were still out on the course at 8.15pm local time playing their third rounds when darkness forced the LPGA officials to halt play for the day.
Catriona Matthew is lying joint 20th overall at three over par (for the tournament) after 11 holes in her third round. She had a second-round 67 to qualify on 152.
Janice Moodie is six over par for the tournament after 12 holes, having qualified with 71 and 76 for 147.
Michele Wie, who had a first-round 82, withdrew before the start of the second.
Karrie Webb, who had an 83, did go out and, good for her, returning a 71 for 154 - well over the cut figure of 149 but at least she showed herself she could play the course in a decent score.

Here is how the scoreboard looks at the start of play today (Sunday) at Pine Needs Lodge and Golf Club, Southern Pines in North Carolina.

Jiyai Shin (70 69) -5 for the tournament after 10 holes of round three.
Cristie Kerr (71 72) -4 after 13.
Lorena Ochoa (71 71) -4 after 11.
Angela Park (68 69) -4 after 10.
