Elizabeth Bennett wins SE Divisional Championship

Elizabeth Bennett (Brockenhurst Manor), pictured right, won the ELGA S. E. Championship with a 2 and 1 victory over fellow Hampshire colleague Tracey Boyes (Meon Valley) in a fine tussle at West Sussex Golf Club.

On a blustery day Nicola Race (Chelmsford) led the qualifiers on 145, whilst Charlie Douglass (Brocket Hall) had an Albatross on the par 5 first, holing her second with a 7 wood, and just missing another on the par 4 second.

The Intermediate Trophy was won by Hannah Burke of Mid-Herts with 151 gross, whilst the County Shield was retained by Hampshire.
