SOUTH KOREAN WINS WOMEN'S WORLD
MATCH-PLAY TITLE


Japan's Ai Miyazato is still looking for a first win on the LPGA Tour after 42 tournaments. She was beaten 2 and 1 by South Korean Seon Hwa Lee in the 18-hole final of the HSBC Women's World match-play championship at New Rochelle, New York State today.
In the play-off for third place, former Stirling University student Maria Hjorth from Sweden lost to Mi Hyun Kim, the second South Korean in the last four, by 2 holes.
Maria lost to Ai Miyazato in the semi-finals by 3 and 2.
Lee beat the No 10 seed, Mi Hyun Kim, by two holes in the all-South Korean semi-final over the hilly, tree-lined Wykagyl Country Club course.
