Mhairi Johnstone cut a shot off the previous Kings' Links women's course record with a score of two-under-par 67 when playing in the Northern Golf Club junior medal today. Her figures were:

IN: 2 4 2 4 4 4 3 4 3 - 30
She had an eagle 2 at the 12th and birdie 2s at the third and 10th to offset bogey 5s at the first and fourth. All the rest were pars.
