A FEW DOLLARS MORE FOR VIKKI LAING
US-based Vikki Laing tied for 17th place and earned $708 in the Futures Tour's Hunters Oak Classic at Queenstown, Maryland today.
The Musselburgh player had rounds of 75, 72 and 72 for a three-over-par tally of 219 - 15 shots behind runaway winner Mollie Fankhauser from Columbus, Ohio.
Mollie won the top prize of $10,500 with 67, 67 and 70 for 12-under-par 204. She finished eight strokes ahead of Kristina Tucker from Sweden (71-71-70).
