THE GIRLS’ HOME INTERNATIONAL MATCHES

Scotland will be hoping for a successful defence of the Stroyan Cup, awarded to the winning team in the Girls’ Home International Matches, when the series is played at Southerndown Golf Club, South Wales for the next three days.
In lifting the trophy last year at Portstewart for the first time in eight years, Scotland broke England’s domination that gave them the series eight times in ten years.
Now, with a side that includes Carly Booth, the newly crowned European Young Masters Champion and 16-year old Sally Watson who qualified for and played 72 holes in the Ricoh Women’s British Open Championship, the Scots have their sights set firmly on retaining the trophy.
