NORTH OF SCOTLAND GIRLS GOLF CANCELLED.
The North of Scotland girls' golf championship, due to be hosted by Thurso Golf Club on Sunday, August 19, has been cancelled because of lack entries.
"The entry of five players does not warrant the championship played. We apologise to those girls who were looking forward to the event and we also apologise to Thurso Golf Club who had so willingly given the courtesy of the course," said Mairi Orr, chairman of the Northern Counties Ladies Golf Association.
