SCOTS ARE UP AGAINST IT IN WALES LADIES
CHAMPIONSHIP OF EUROPE

Lynn Kenny, Clare Queen and Kathryn Imrie are up against it in the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe at the Machynys Peninsula Golf Club in West Wales.
All three Scots had first-round scores of five-over-par 77 and are joint 84th in the standings, which means they need a drasic improvement on Friday if they are to survive the 36-hole cut.
Clare had double bogeys at the 13th and 17th in an inward half of 40.
Heather MacRae (Dunblane), still an amateur but playing on an invitation as winner of the Welsh women's open amateur stroke-play title earlier this season, had a 78.
Scandinavians, and in particular, Danes, have taken over at the top of the leaderboard.
Lisa Holm Sorensen (Dnmark) leads with a six-under-ar 66.
Compatriot Amanda Moltke-Leth is second on 68 while Iben Tinning (Denmark) and Johanna Westerberg (Sweden) are sharing third place on 69.
On 70, there's Kirsty S Taylor, Gladwys Nocera (France), Joanne Mills (Australia) and Rebecca Hudson.
Inverness-based Kiwi Liz McKinnon is sharing 54th place on 75.
