VIKKI LAING MAKES THE CUT WITH EASE

Vikki Laing from Musselburgh shot rounds of 75 and 72 for three-over-par 147 and made the cut with four shots to spare in the US Futures Tour's Hunters Oak Classic at Queenstown, Maryland.
Sharing 25th place, the Scot is 13 shots behind the five-stroke leader Mollie Fankhauser from Columbus, Ohio. Mollie has had a pair of 67s over the 6,339yd course.
South Wales amateur Natasha Morgan, a student at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florida, also made it through to the final round with 72 and 77 for 149.
But Londoner Polly Willett (73-79) and Brenda McLarnon from Belfast (74-78) both failed by one shot on 152.
