ENGLAND SCHOOLGIRLS' SINGLES LESSON
FOR SCOTS AT WESTERWOOD

England beat Scotland 6-3 in the schoolgirls’ golf international match at Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort, Cumbernauld today.
The Scots girls led 2-1 after the morning foursomes but were overpowered 5-1 in the singles.
Scotland’s only afternoon winner was Eve Muirhead from Pitlochry High School. She won by 6 and 5 against Becky Gibbs from Millfield, Somerset.
Jane Turner (George Watson’s College) had a hole in one in the morning foursomes.
