JUNIOR FINALS AT DUBAI CREEK

The 21 finalists for The Daily Telegraph Junior Golf Championship in association with The Royal Bank of Scotland Group have now been confirmed.
The 12 boys - all English - and nine girls - two of them Scottish - will be getting ready for the trip of a lifetime in October -when they will tee it up at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, hoping to claim one of the two 2007 Junior Golf Titles.
There are two Scots in the whole party - Rachael McQueen from Ayrshire, the leading qualifier in the girls' category, and Comrie's Carly Booth who will be making a second appearance at the invitation of the sponsors.
Last year Sally Watson from South Queensferry won the girls' title out in Dubai. Carly, with her +3 handicap and her brilliant tournament record this season, will start favourite to follow in Sally's footsteps.
Rachael is 17 and has made tremendous progress since she took up golf only three years ago. This year she has reduced her handicap from six to two and played for the Ayrshire women's county team.
The 54-hole boys' and girls' tournaments at Dubai Creek will be held on October 7, 8 and 9.
