Stirling through to final of Mail on Sunday Golf Classic (Again!)

Stirling Ladies reached the final of the UK finals of the Mail on Sunday Golf Classic for the third time in 6 years. Having previously won 6 matches against opposition from all over Scotland, Stirling played host to Glenbervie for the Scottish Final. It was a very tense and nervy evening and the final score of 3 ½ to 1 ½ did not really reflect how close the match was.

The Stirling team along with team member Fiona Campbell now go to Worsley Park Manchester on 1st October for the UK finals. Both teams would like to thank all of the members from both clubs who came out to support. There was some consolation for Glenbervie in that their men’s team also reached Worsley Park defeating Kinross 4-1 away in the Scottish Final.
