GEMMA'S INWARD HALF COSTS HER TOP TEN
FINISH AT WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

Gemma Webster from Glasgow, a student at Ohio State University, finished joint 13th in a field of 60 players for the Women's Landfall Tradition college golf tournament at Wilmington, North Carolina today.
The former Scotland cap, a member at Hilton Park Golf Club, had rounds of 72, 75 and 77 for a total of eight-over-par 224. After birdieing the fifth and ninth holes to be out in level par 36 in her final round, Gemma dropped out of the top 10 by taking 41 shots for her second nine, including a double bogey 5 at the short 15th.
After the collapse of overnight leader Christel Boeljon (Purdue) with an 81 which included three double bogeys, victory went to Nannette Hill (Wake Forest) with 75, 66 and 76 for one-over-par 217.
Wake Forest (878) won the team title from Purdue (887) with Ohio State, the Buckeyes, seventh of 12 with 910.
