GIRLS OPEN AT TAMPA, FLORIDA
US-based Stephanie Meadow from Antrim, Northern Ireland finished runner-up in the GolfWorld Girls' Open - an International Junior Tour event - at Saddlebrook, Tampa, Florida earlier this week.
Winner was Spain's Marta Silva with a first-round 68 and then an extraordinary, seven-under-par 63 for a total of nine-under 131.
Stephanie shot 72 and 68 for 140.
Tyler Etcheberry from Wesley Chapel, Florida was third on 141 with rounds of 72 and 69.
The first three finished clear of the field with fourth-placed Gabrielle Balit from Montreal back on 147 with 71 and 76.
