ROSEANNE NIVEN ENDS FIRST HALF
OF SEASON WITH JT 26TH PLACE
IN HAWAIIAN TOURNAMENT

Crieff teenager Roseanne Niven ended the first half of the 2007-2008 United States women's college golf season, with a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii as a member of the University of California Berkeley team.
Over the Kapolei course (par-72, 6,150yd), 18-year-old Roseanne finished joint 26th in a field of 102 players at the Kent Youel Invitational tournament.
She scored 78, 76 and 76 for a total of 230.
Joint winners of one-over-par 217 were two UCLA students, Tiffany John and Maria Jose Uribe.
Roseanne did help her college to finish third of 19 teams behind UCLA and Southern California.
The competitive golf season resumes for the Scot in February even though she will be able to practise and play throughout the winter in California.
