VIKKI IMPROVES WITH A THIRD-ROUND 74
IN LPGA FINAL QUALIFYING SCHOOL

Musselburgh exile Vikki Laing had her best round so far - a two-over-par 74 - on the third day of the LPGA Final Qualifying School at Daytona Beach, Florida
Vikki's earlier rounds of 76 and 77 meant she has an 11-over-par total of 227 after 54 holes. The Scot is well outside the leading 70 and ties to which the field will be cut after the fourth round.
England's Joanne Morley also improved with a 73 after a pair of 76s on the first two days. But, on the 225 mark, she is only marginally better off that Vikki Laing.
Bedford's Samantha Head is on a downward spiral after a good start - 76 for 223 today.
Kiran Matharu has got over her severe attack of first-day nerves but she cannot make up for that horrendous 83. She shot a 71 in the third round but is back on 228.
