The Watson golfing girls from South Queensferry have entered the first tournament in next month's Orange Blossom Tour for amateur girls/women in Florida.
It's the Harder Hall Women's Invitational at Harder Hall Country Club in Sebring from January 3 to 6.
Sally Watson, 16, a student at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton, Florida, was a strong-finishing fourth in this prestigous tournament last year.
Rebecca Watson, 18, is halfway through her first year at the University of Tennessee and has played several times on the US women's college circuit.
US Curtis Cup captain Carol Semple Thompson is the chairman of the Harder Hall Women's Invitational Committee, a former winner of the event - and she still finds the time to play in it every year.
It's not cheap to play in the "Harder Hall" - $240 is the entry fee - but there is more than just a busy golf programme during the week, there is a strong social side which is much enjoyed by the competitors.
GB&I Curtis Cup captain Mary McKenna and those of the Ladies Golf Union winter training squad who are available to make the trip to Florida will join the Orange Blossom Tour for the second and third events - The Sally (South Atlantic Ladies Amateur) at Oceanside Country Club from January 9 to 12 followed by the Jones/Doherty Championship at Coral Ridge Country Club from January 14 to 19.
